The Seven Deadly Sins: Pride & Envy

Dr. Will Jones

Proverbs 6:16-19; Matthew 23:1-12

Summary: The season of Lent is the time for Christians to examine our hearts and determine which types of sin harm us and our relationship with God and others.  The Seven Deadly Sins are those that the Church has identified as especially damaging for our moral lives.  Pride and Envy prevent us from seeing ourselves truthfully and treating others fairly.
